About the consultation

WorkSafe New Zealand consulted on a proposed safe work instrument (SWI) that would set a 10-year test interval for seamless steel cylinders manufactured after 1930.

We invited feedback on the proposed requirements, to help determine whether the proposed periodic test interval was suitable for seamless steel cylinders.

The consultation ran from 26 August 2024 to 20 September 2024.
