About the consultation

WorkSafe New Zealand consulted on a proposed amendment safe work instrument (SWI) that would specify requirements for the issue, renewal and continuation of certificates of competence for the extractives industry.

We invited feedback on the proposed requirements.

The consultation ran from 30 September 2024 to 15 November 2024.
